Design Process

I dedicate myself to making my clients dream home a reality. This process includes really listening to my clients needs and concerns, to come up with the most innovative design concepts, while creating an efficient enough plan that the client can still afford to build their house. I find myself being the mediator between client and builder to come up with the best possible plan at the right price. I will work hand and hand with your builder and always invite them to sit in on the meetings.

We begin the design process by creating a rough room layout on your lot. At this point we will discuss all the pros and cons of the room placement. Once we have settled on the optimum room layout, then I will create the first design sketches for our next meeting. At our second meeting we will be reviewing detailed design sketches comparable to the ones seen above. I'll draw overlays to redesign any areas that aren't working for you. Once we have found a schematic solution to any problem with the house, then I will create a second design sketch with all the adjustment we discussed. We will review once again just to make sure the plan is exactly what you expected and then the final construction documents will be produced in Auto Cad. My standard construction documents include- Floor plans, four Elevations, Roof plan, one Section view, Site plan, and Elec./Lighting layout. I can custom taylor a plan to your needs, adding or removing details if requested.
